The EU is one of the most stringent international organizations on pesticide residues in tea among major tea consuming countries worldwide.
We conducted a comprehensive analysis of the differences between the limit requirements for imported tea pesticide residues in the European Union and GB 2763 "National Food Safety Standard - Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Food". They also collected information on the notification of tea pesticide residues in the European Food and Feed Rapid Warning System (RASFF) in recent years, and developed a comprehensive monitoring, high-risk, and warning project package suitable for exporting tea raw materials to the European Union.
