Toxicology and Function

According to Article 74 of Chapter 4 of the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, the state strictly supervises and manages special foods such as health foods, formula foods for special medical purposes, and infant formula foods. The Measures for the Administration of Registration and Filing of Health Food stipulate that the production and use of health food raw materials outside the list of health food raw materials, as well as health food imported for the first time (excluding health food that supplements vitamins, minerals and other nutrients), need to be registered. Health food products need to provide safety and health function evaluation materials during registration, including toxicology and functional evaluation test reports.

Service Introduction

Safety evaluation test: refers to the test conducted by inspection agencies in accordance with the requirements of the regulations and norms of the State Food and Drug Administration on the health food or its raw materials submitted for inspection, with the purpose of verifying the safety of consumption;
Health function evaluation test: refers to the test conducted by the inspection agency in accordance with the requirements and standards of the State Food and Drug Administration on the health food submitted for inspection, with the purpose of verifying its health function, including animal tests and population consumption evaluation tests.
