The global regulation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) is increasingly stringent. Numerous regulations, including the EU REACH Regulation and Germany’s GS Mark Certification, impose control limits on PAHs. We provide professional testing services aligned with regulatory standards and detection methods:
EU REACH Regulation
Annex XVII of the REACH Regulation regulates PAHs in rubber or plastic components of products that come into direct and prolonged or short-term repeated contact with human skin or the oral cavity.
German GS Certification
The standard AfPS GS 2019:01 PAK (PAHs) under GS Mark Certification officially came into effect on July 1, 2020, replacing the previous standard AfPS GS 2014:01 PAK. The number of regulated PAHs has been adjusted from 18 to 15.
