TI Group Secures SZU Testing Partnership in New Energy, Paving the Way to European Markets
Release Time:2026/07/03

As the global new energy sector continues its rapid expansion, European compliance requirements for grid‑connected photovoltaic (PV), energy storage, and power equipment are becoming increasingly stringent. Recently, TI Group’s new energy testing laboratory – Dongguan Baneng Testing Technology Co., Ltd. – received official recognition from SZU (Strojírenský zkušební ústav), a leading Czech certification body. The two parties have signed a framework agreement for cooperation in new energy testing.

This partnership marks a significant step forward in TI Group’s ability to provide international compliance and European market access services for new energy products, offering Chinese manufacturers a more efficient and professional one‑stop technical pathway to Europe.

European Credential: Who Is SZU and Why Does This Partnership Matter?

SZU is a well‑established Czech testing and certification body with deep technical expertise and strong credibility within the European conformity assessment system. As a professional institution embedded in the EU market access framework, SZU has long been active in electrical and electronic product certification, industrial equipment and energy product testing, EU regulatory compliance assessment, and CE‑related technical services.

In Europe’s new energy sector – particularly in areas such as PV grid connection, inverters, and grid interface equipment – products must comply with strict EU technical regulations and national grid standards. Entering the European market requires not only high product performance but also testing and certification support from internationally recognized bodies.

Under the new agreement, SZU has formally accredited TI Group’s new energy laboratory as one of its cooperative testing facilities, authorized to participate in conformity assessment procedures for new energy products. This means the lab’s testing capabilities are now recognized by a European authority, and test results generated there can be used in SZU‑led certification and compliance processes. As a result, Chinese new energy companies can complete critical testing domestically, significantly accelerating project timelines and market response times. For exporters, this translates directly into a faster, more streamlined route to European market entry.

Priority markets include the EU as a whole, the Czech Republic and Central/Eastern Europe, as well as major new energy destinations such as Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands.

As the global shift toward new energy accelerates, Europe has become one of the most important overseas markets for Chinese new energy companies. At the same time, European countries are raising their safety and compliance requirements for new energy products. TI Group leverages its international cooperation resources and localized technical service capabilities to help clients improve compliance efficiency, shorten certification cycles, reduce market access risks, and accelerate product entry into Europe.
