The International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) is a voluntary mechanism of the European Union for sustainable certification of biomass energy. ISCC has established a globally applicable high-quality certification system covering the entire supply chain to verify compliance with the sustainability requirements of the European Union's Renewable Energy Directive (RED) and Fuel Quality Directive (FQD), and to verify compliance with voluntary sustainability requirements in other markets.
Chinese biofuel product oil manufacturers and raw material suppliers certified by ISCC can export their products and raw materials to the EU biofuel market.
For sustainable fuels used in the EU, recognized by the European Commission and compliant with RED and FQD standards.
Applicable to voluntary and certain regulated markets outside the EU, covering bioenergy, food, feed, chemicals, and technical applications.
For sustainable aviation fuels under ICAO CORSIA, ensuring compliance with sustainability and greenhouse gas emission standards.
