EPD (Environmental Product Declaration), also known as Type III Environmental Declaration, is a voluntary, third-party verified public document provided by organizations based on ISO 14025 to disclose the lifecycle environmental impact information of their products or services. Its characteristics include transparency, comparability, and verifiability, making it an important benchmark for guiding green consumption, production, and communication on significant environmental impacts such as climate change. In recent years, enterprises in EU countries and other regions have also adopted EPD as a key indicator for market procurement.
